Ideas Marketplace
What’s new? What are you doing that is
innovative? What issues are affecting
your working day? The Ideas Marketplace
will be a space for you to share projects,
ideas and innovations with other delegates. It will also
be a forum to connect with people who share special
interests. The Ideas Marketplace will be located on the
Exhibition floor in the thick of the action and will be a
hub for connecting with other delegates.
Marketplace Presentations
Presentations will be displayed on a number of panels
throughout the Conference. Each presentation will be
4 – 6 PowerPoint slides that give delegates an overview
of the topic.
The Committee will review all presentations submitted for the Marketplace and the inclusion of the presentations will be at the discretion of the Committee. We encourage corporate supporters to submit presentations but the concept is not intended as an advertising medium.
If you have an idea or innovation that you would like to share please email a presentation to karina@cdesign.com.au by 31 August or call Karina on 03 6231 2999 to discuss further.
Discussion Topics/Special Interest Groups
There are many topics that people are passionate about
that cannot be included in the main program. The ideas
Marketplace allows you to propose a topic or issue to
form a discussion group during the Conference.
Anyone can nominate a topic by visiting the Ideas
Marketplace page on the Conference website and using
the template provided. All you need to do is describe the
issue or opportunity in 50 words, tell us why you think it
is an important topic to pursue and provide your contact
details. As topics are submitted we will add them to
the Ideas Marketplace page, so other delegates can get
involved.
At the Conference we will designate a time and place
to meet on each topic. Groups will meet (typically for 45
minutes) and record a simple feedback sheet describing
what issue/opportunity they discussed, key points and
any actions that were suggested. These worksheets will
be displayed in the Marketplace for others to view.
