ANZAME09 Bridging
Professional Islands highlights both the need for and the current focus on a
collaborative approach to health professional education. What is already
happening? What are the plans for the future? Is an interprofessional
agenda needed? What is the relationship between discipline areas? How do we
cope with increased student numbers and changing dynamics?
Tasmania, the island state, is a microcosm of the health workforce education
issues facing Australia, New Zealand and many other parts of the world; come
and engage in stimulating debate and open discussion; come and walk the
bridge together.
