Dear Emergency Nurses and fellow Practitioners, The 8th International Conference for Emergency Nursing of the College of Emergency Nursing Australasia will be held from 14-16 October 2010. The overall theme will be Global Emergency Nursing Leadership; shaping practice and service. The Organising Committee is now working on an exciting program emphasising the challenges of delivering emergency care in a global village that is becoming more and more challenging at all levels. Prizes
The National Institute of Clinical Studies will award a $1000 prize for the paper or poster that best demonstrates improving health care by closing an identified gap between the available evidence and clinical practice. The Australasian Emergency Department of the Year Award, sponsored by Midmed, and the Australasian Emergency Nurse of the Year Award, sponsored by Elsevier, will be awarded again in 2010.
