Pippa & Pippi in Scotland
Good morning all,
Just thought I would introduce myself as the proud new host of Pippa and Pippi.
My name is Donna and i live in a quiet little town in the north east of scotland called Elgin. I have been a childminder for 15 years and currently care for 2 preschool children. My husband and i also also foster children, and have 2 of our own children and so it is a busy household. The weekend past I had the pleasure of attending SCMA'S annual AGM and conference which was held in the lovely
city of Edinburgh, at which Pippa and Pippi were introduced to myself. We spent a lovely 4 hour train journey home and this halloween morning i have introduced them to the 2 younger children in my care. They will be attending a halloween party this morning with another childminder friend of mine and im sure they will have fun. I will over the next month or so hope to take them along to see the Loch Ness Monster, Gordonstoun school - where our royal family often attend, Duffus Castle, Elgin cathedral and other important places in our region before sending them onto another part of the country.
Attatched is our first photo my mindees with our lovable friends, whom has adopted a scotttish
flag to say how much they are enjoying themselves.
Moray, Scotland
The children had a wonderful time with Pippa and Pippi. Unfortunately we didn't get to see the loch ness monster due to the appalling weather conditions recently.
We did visit RAF LOSSIEMOUTH , where they managed to get onto a jet. Duffus castle, where the kids learned about the moat etc.
Our local soft play centre when one of the kids had a birthday party.
the local park was a hit. They also got to eat our national dish, HAGGIS NEEPS AND TATTIES and a brief outing in the snow. They have now taken up residence on the lovely Island of Bute.
The kids really enjoyed meeting the koalas and playing with them,
Many thanks,
Donna Dawson and Mary Millar
