Invitation to Attend

Following the success of last year’s Conference, the Organising Committee invites you to attend the second Conference on ‘Leadership and Practice Development in Health: Quality and Safety through Workplace Learning.’ The Conference has an interdisciplinary focus on workplace learning and clinical supervision in its many forms. We are proud to present an exciting program that will feature nationally and internationally recognised leaders from nursing and midwifery, allied health and medicine to showcase the latest and the best in research and practice.

The program will stimulate discussion regarding a range of innovations in interprofessional quality and safety teaching and learning practices including health
workforce reforms, coaching and clinical supervision, and practice development across a broad range of interdisciplinary themes. The Conference will highlight
the use of simulation as a teaching and learning strategy that is particularly suited to the development of teams and practice-based learning. Interactive workshops will support the Conference program.

While visiting Tasmania, take the time to experience some of the amazing wilderness and coastal areas unique to this Island State. Many natural highlights
and attractions are within only a short travelling distance from Hobart. Tasmania is also well known for its fine food and wine, available at local restaurants and
wineries and a feature of our Conference Dinner.

We invite you to come and learn, mingle, relax and enjoy our beautiful State.
