We invite you to submit an abstract for
• an oral paper
• a poster
for possible presentation at the Conference.

Abstracts are due by 31 Oct 2007.

The 300 word abstract should outline the aims and content of the presentation. A book of accepted abstracts will be printed and distributed to registrants at the commencement of the Conference. Presenters will need to have registered for the Conference for their abstracts to be accepted and appear in the book of abstracts.

All abstracts are to be submitted electronically via the Speakers' Zone on the Conference web site. If you have any problems with the submission process please contact Conference Design for assistance.

The Conference Committee will inform you whether your abstract has been accepted. You will be asked to indicate your preferred presentation format, but the Conference Committee may request an alternative format be considered.

> Abstracts Submission Procedure: 3 Steps

1. Prepare your abstract
Download the abstract template (see right) as an MS Word file to your own computer and use it to prepare your abstract. It is important that you include authors' names, affiliations and addresses, and indicate the presenting author. Use a font no smaller than Times New Roman 11 point, ensure the file stays as a single A4 page, and leave 2-cm margins around your abstract. Include photographs, diagrams and graphs as you choose. Abstracts that do not conform to these guidelines will be returned to the presenting author for editing before being accepted.

2. Register your presentation
Access the submission zone (see right) to enter your contact details and presentation title.

3. Upload your abstract
At the end of the registration process you will be asked to upload your MS Word abstract. You can enter multiple abstracts. You will then be given an Access Key to enable on-line editing of your abstract.

> Presentation Formats
Oral papers
See the program for session times. Listed times include question time.

Posters

Posters will be displayed for the duration of the conference. Each poster will be allocated a board 1-metre wide x 2-metres high, and the poster must fit entirely within this area. The boards are covered in blue-grey front-runner material suitable for Velcro hooks, which will be supplied at the conference.

A poster session will be held during the conference, when poster presenters will be expected to attend their posters.

> Full Papers & Conference Proceedings
A book of accepted abstracts will be printed and distributed to registrants at the commencement of the Conference. Presenters will need to have registered for the Conference for their abstracts to appear in the book of abstracts. The Conference Committee aims to arrange for selected papers to be published following peer-review in a special issue of an international journal.

> Abstract Template
Right click on this link and select 'Save Target As...' to save the MS Word document to your computer. You must save the template to your own computer before opening it.

This is a simple Word for Windows file. You can use this document to prepare your abstract by typing over the top of the text or you can edit your existing abstract to match the formatting specified here. It is important you include the authors names, affiliations and addresses and indicate the presenting author.
