Graphics and logos for the web...

When sending graphics and logos to Conference Design for the conference web site they need to be sent in the following file types:

  • jpg
  • gif
  • tiff

The graphics should be high resolution, about 200KB for a logo or headshot photo.

Pictures and logo on the web are saved in a low quality version (usually 10 – 50KB) to allow faster download. However, it is better if we get the high quality image and reduce it as required.

  Do not send...

Do not send “embedded” graphics, that is photos or logos in Word documents or PowerPoint documents. A lot of quality is lost when removing them from the document so we need the image in it’s “native format”, e.g. eps, tiff, jpg or gif as above.

Logos taken directly from a web page will generally be too low quality for printing.
